The name of the peak stems from the fact that everyone blew their horn as a warning sign or either to rally everyone around. Since 1901, a small chapel has been there which was promoted by Júlia de Ferrer, a Besalu lady who was renowned for her charitable actions. It is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and is built along neogothical lines that were in use for religious buildings at the outset of the XXth century. The architect was the husband of the lady founder, Xavier de Ferrer i de Ferrer, and everyone wanted, when building it, to consecrate the XXth century that was just starting. Since it was founded there have been gatherings, with the offering of bread.
